"6 miles - me! When I could barely get through one mile last spring!"
"Hi Yuri, maybe this is a little bit ridiculous, as I don't know how many times or how many different ways I can say this, but I just wanted to tell you again - you have changed my life, and I'm so grateful. I was reminded of it again today.
I went for a 6 mile run this morning (6 miles - me! When I could barely get through one mile last spring!) and it felt so great. There were a couple of rough hills along the way, and one in particular that I saw looming up ahead and thought, crap, I'll never get up that.
Then I thought about the Treadmill Trainer workouts, and imagined that I heard your voice reminding me to tell myself I had the energy to do this, and I made it just fine. I was moving along, on a beautiful fall morning, looking at the great foliage and enjoying the clean air and just feeling so grateful that I've been able to make these changes in my health and fitness. Yes, the weight loss is nice, but the transformation I feel in other ways is so profound that I can hardly believe it. I think I'll be able to run a 10K race soon!
You have taught me how to keep myself motivated even when I feel wiped out, and to believe that I can be strong. I've been through so many exercise phases before in my life and never stuck with them for this long, and even when I did keep up I never enjoyed exercise. Never. Now I look forward to every workout and every run because I feel so good. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about the direction my health was taking and how different a place I'm in now.
You have a very special gift for motivating and inspiring people, and because you share so much information with us and clearly work so hard to be sure your programs are good ones, we know we can trust you. I hope that you're able to realize what a profound difference you've made for the people who work with you.
